We all want success, I want success, but Jesus was a carpenter.

Jesus was a carpenter from the city of Nazareth—nothing glamorous, as it seemed. But it didn’t matter that Jesus didn’t ride in on a white horse, live in a palace, He wasn’t beloved by everyone—He was despised by many. It didn’t matter that He was a carpenter, a nomad from Nazareth. Because He was just where and who He needed to be for the Father to have His way.

An unglamorous life can still glorify God.

A life that seems plain and unsuccessful can still glorify God.

And maybe the places you have grown weary of are just where He needs you to be.
